Kristie's Definitional Argument
Kristie, I think you made valid points for either side of you're argument. I also think the research you did assisted in presenting both sides of your argument. The paper is ordered well, with good information supporting each point. It transitions nicely as well, the paper is very smooth and easy to read. I think you did a great job writing this paper! I was also glad to know that you took the advice I gave you during peer review. By reading papers out loud, you can find errors you might not have noticed if you were reading it on a computer screen. I give it an A!
Nate's Definitional Argument
Nate, I liked your paper because I too grew up in the realm of DC vs. Marvel because of my two brothers. The paper offers a solid interpretation of both sides of the industry, as well as highlights the feud between the two companies. My favorite is Batman. You make valid points about what each company has to offer it's readers, and compare and contrast the two companies well. I liked you're transitions as well. However, I would have liked to have read more about the argument between the two comic kingdoms, and would have liked to see outside comics included as well, such as Betty and Veronica. But I really enjoyed your paper... I give you an A-!
Jacob's Definitional Argument
Jacob, I liked your paper, I too am a fan of DIY ethics. The information in the paper is very good and infomative, I had no idea there was a DIY culture for video games. I also liked that you compared DIY games to DIY music. Overall the paper is well written and the transitions between points are well thought out. You are very knowledgeable about the DIY cultures. The paper reads smoothly. I give you an A!
